TIDES a.k.a. Alex Lu

is a Taiwanese-American animator, filmmaker, illustrator, and martial artist whose ever changing dynamic artistry explores internal and external themes of change, animism, and flow. He is originally from Seattle, Washington and his work is influenced by a deep appreciation for nature and diasporic storytelling, giving him a unique perspective when it comes to depicting interconnectivity.

He is a graduate of New York University and a member of the Chinese Kung-Fu Wu-Su Association.
